DD 19 months woke up at 3am this morning had been sick all over her cot. I thought she had just had a coughing fit which had made her be sick but no it kept going and then DS2 woke up about 5am the same.
I took DD to doctors this morning because what she was bringing up looked like it had bits of blood in it. Doctor said just to make sure she had plenty of fluids and go back if i wasn't getting wet nappies.
The problem is she isn't keeping any fluids down at all they don't even seem to be making it down to her stomach before they are straight back out again within a matter of seconds of drinking its back up again.
Before i went to the doctors i had just taken her night time nappy off her so that was obviously wet, probabaly not as wet as usual though. I have had another slightly wet nappy about 2pm but nothing since and she is still being sick as soon as she has a sip of water.
Do you think i should give NHS24 a call or should i just hang off till the morning and see how she is then?
DS2 seems to be ok he is at least managing to keep the fluids down for about half an hour before being sick so at least he will still be getting hydrated a little bit from them.
