Any ideas what could be wrong with DD - v weird

She recently recovered from a nasty virus fever/cough but a week later she is ill again.

She was sick on Sunday night with low fever then yesterday seemed to improve but last night the fever returned 38.8.

She is giving no other symptoms as such, no rash no pain, no congestion. She is completely off food but drinking lots of fluid. She is v v pale with dark rings under her eyes. It seems to improve but then she goes down again...

Guess her body is still fighting it. Hope she's getting enough rest and will get better soon.

Is she old enough to have multi vits? Could she have a little vit sweetie for a boost? (not sure if that would even help, but it makes me feel like I'm doing something to help!)

Yes I do give her vits - but she still catches everything! I may take her to the docs but don't know what he will say, as always he has no ideas

Perhaps her immune system has recently taken a battering then and she will just need time to recover.
Annoying for her, but you've just got to let nature do it's thing...

Have you tried special drinks like V8 (?) veg drink mixed with OJ to sweeten to help build up her strength. Porridge? It's my comfort food.

Yes I think you are right. But could it be an infection she needs AB for - the recurrent fever?

I would take her back and check it hasn't turned into an ear/throat/chest infection or whatever. That can make them sick.
