Yellowing teeth

17mth DS two top front teeth are starting to look yellow. He's only had them for 3 months and I brush them twice a day and am careful when I give fruit.

I am going to book a dentist appointment, but I wondered if anyone else had experienced this? If so, do the adult teeth grow through yellow?

TIA

Hi I'm not sure about the yellowing of the teeth but we had an oral hygienist at our group the other day and she said not to use the childrens toothpastes as they are a gimmick and that they only provide half the recommended flouride that children need. Children should be using a toothpate which has at least 1000ppm flouride so to put them straight onto the family toothpaste, using a thin smear of paste on the brush.
Also not to rinse their mouths out after brushing as this washes away the valuable flouride you just put in. This is really hard habit to break as I've always rinsed my mouth after brushing!
I sing a song whilst brushing my 3yr old DS to encourage a decent brushing time. Or say mummy brush them first then he can do it too.
