What is a normal temp (I am talking about lower end - as in dd too cold?)

DD has suddenly (about an hour ago) woken up unwell. She has a very croaky voice and is obviously in pain. She is drifting in and out of sleep in my lap - she wants to sleep but something definaltly bothering her.

I am pretty sure she has a cold and sore throat.

One thing though is that she feels very cold to me. She is wearing a vest and then PJs over the top and covered with a thick blacket (doubled over so like 2). She is red in the cheeks but just feels cold. I took her temperature (ear thermometer) and it said 92 but I have no idea what normal is.

Just find it odd as she is usually quite hot when she has a cold or anything.

92 degrees farenheight comes out as 62oC, which isn't right. Take it again, it should be abbout 100 ish.

98.2 - 98.6 °F is normal, 92 does seem very cool. Can you take her temp again? Maybe try the other ear too and take an average?
