DS woke up with spots on Saturday. He got more on Sunday but hasn't seemed to get any more since and the ones he has don't seem to bother him too much. I know it is contagious till something to do with last spot - dries up? But his don't seem very bad. He had about 4 that were larger than the others and were blisters but the others are all fairly small.

I am assuming he should be off till Monday at least but he wants to go in tomorrow. Is also supposed to be playing in a football tournament on Saturday and DH seems to think he will be ok for that. I don't think so really.

it is normally 5 days from the first spots
so he should be fine to go in on Thursday
he will have been infectious before the spots appeared
he should be fine for the football match too

if in doubt, check with the school office

Oh - ok! thanks.

It's Book Week at school this week so he will be thrilled to go in - they are doing a Book at Bedtime thingie on Thursday and have to go back to school in PJs at 6pm for a story and cocoa and biscuits. And Friday is dress up day.
