molluscums / eczema linked?

Poor old DD2 has 2 molluscs appeared under her eye. bad enough getting the bloody things but on her face is particularly shite. she's also got all dry and crusty around that side of her face.
i seem to remember DD1 getting eczema around a few molluscs on her arm when she had them a while ago.
is there a link?
can i put tea tree on them on her face and will it sting like buggery if the skin is sore there?
anything else i can do?
also don't want the buggers to scar so can't even give them a squeeze to hasten them.
is it worth taking her to the Drs? I know they won't remove the molluscs but about the crusty eczema bit?

it is apparently more likely that eczema prone children will get molluscum but I have not heard of it being the other way around.

Take her to the gp to get advice on the skin problem. 'Crusty' can often signify an infected area so no harm it getting it checke dout.

doesn't look infected. just red and flakey. she tends to be itchy and a bit eczema-ish.
am just pissed off the buggers are on her poor little face.

Recently taken dd to herbalist for molluscum on her leg. Remedy has elements to help boost immune system and reduce any scarring. After ten days spots visibly smaller, excema around them reduced. No idea whether it would have happened anyway but coincidence is very specific! Herbalist might have a specific remedy for facial spots in particular.
