Threadworms and hand washing at school

When I was at primary school, our hand washing was policed quite heavily, and we certainly always washed our hands before lunch before having them inspected.

These days there seems to be less hygiene policing in school, and I am wondering if this is one of the reasons for the prevalence of threadworms amongst schoolchildren.

What does everyone think??

Defiently don't even get me started,
this topic makes me very mad

My dd once told me that she couldn't reach the paper towels to dry her hands and she wasn't the shortest in the class I wondered did some of the others not even bother washing!
