Boys and their willies

Oh what a lovely topic for first thing on a Saturday morning but here goes!

I suppose I just want some indication of what's normal in terms of what a five year old boy's willy should be like and whether it's safe for him to keep messing about with it.

This is not about hang ups around touching himself down there, as i really don't care about all this.

It's more to do with foreskins etc. He is obsessed now with pulling it down and having a good look. I was just concerned that it should be left alone to protect the penis whilst it's still growing. But, if he is going to continue doing this, is there a special washing technique?

I suppose I'm concerned because he's had a few peeing problems of late and I was worried it might be linked.

Boys, eh?!

Try and get him to leave it alone if you can. DS sometimes gets infections and the doctor told me it is because we are washing it too much. She says "LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!". She said it just like that as well in CAPs . Just being in the bath is enough to keep it clean apparently.
