Probiotic for eczema?

DD1 (5y) has eczema on the backs of her hands. I read recently that probiotics help - anyone got any experience of this and what should I try? It'd have to be something easy to administer to a 5yo on a regular basis.

I took this stuff for last few weeks of PG/start of BF. Didn't help my own eczema, but DD doesn't have it, so maybe it did some good?

It says on the instructions you can open the capsule and sprinkle the contents into food, so should be OK to give to a kid.

The Culturelle stuff is expensive though, I suspect Boots will do something similar but cheaper. I took that one because that was what the researchers used in the paper I read (am a professional nerd!)

Thanks HB. Will see what I can find.
