DS keeps wetting himself - can boys get UTI's?

I'm wondering whether DS has something wrong with him as in the last week he just keeps wetting himself. Today he's done it twice.
He's been potty trained for over 8 months now so should be well past the stage of reverting to accidents shouldnt he? He's 3.5yrs
He has in the past had the problem where he gets damp pants as he does a tiny bit then stops himself, says he needs a wee and runs to the loo, but now he is just saying 'need a wee' looking panicked and doing it immediately in his clothes. Its not even a full wee, so he should be able to hold in a bit till he gets to the loo.

Could it be a UTI? Or is it normal to regress like this? How to stop it???

it could be a UTI, ask the GP for a test if he carries on

Boys can get UTIs (DH had one). Def. talk to your GP.
