ds2 15 weeks has been tried on ranitacine and omeperazole and neither had worked. He is on domperidone which has helped but today ended up in a&e and they've put him on the above which they say is similar to omeperazole(which gave him a bad reaction) has anyone used this succesfully?

Yes, we had. DS2 was on lansox, brand name for lanzoprazole. And it did make a HUGE difference. Smiling for first time. The dosage had to be adjusted a couple of time, and he was having 2/3 of a tablet TWICE a day (more than the adult basic dosage).
You should notice a difference really fast. And refering to your other post, babies have no memories of pain, so maybe omeprazole was working for approx 4 hours, then the pain came back ALL AT ONCE, ifswim, instead of having a constant level of medium-low pain.

I strongly recommend the site crying over split milk.co.nz

Good luck!!

i dont understand what you mean? After he had the omeperazole (plus lansoperazole) he would cry for 4-5 hours AFTER having it so they were giving him pain..
