My DD is 13 months old and regularly drinks around about 6 tomme tippee cups of juice a day.

DP seems to think this may be a sign of diabeties and as my grandfather has it it made me sit up and listen when DP said that but I can't find anything about it on the net is that because there is no link or am I not searching the right place?

Just wondering whether I should get DD checked for it.

Hi, I tok ds to doctors about this last year. Excessive thirst is a symptom of diabetes. If it is just 1 relative that has diabetes then it is unlikely to be a familiar link but could be unrelated. my thread from last year If your worried id take your DD to the doctors. Lloyds chemist wont do a pin prick text due to your dd's age
