DD has had a few days off sick since she started secondary school

and I was looking in her contact book tonight where her sick notes are recorded and realised that there is a pattern... she has had a day off around the same time each month in September, December, January and February - with pretty much the same symptoms each time, headache, sore throat exhaustion and general malaise.
Is there some significance in this? She hasn't started periods yet,but could this be some sort of pre-menstrual syndrome?
I was startled to see the pattern but maybe I am overanalysing.

Yeah I think it could be, the same thing happened to me when I was 11/12 and was taking time off for headaches. You could get her some pills for the PMSy type things. I used to have delightful pink ones

But it could be coming! :D
