i'll do bullet points as otherwise ill waffle.

BACKGROUND
dd 18 months

has been a bit poorly on and off since mmr at end of jan.

had a measley reaction as anticipated

seemed to recover

had odd dodgy nappy/fluctuation appetite.

RECENT CHAPTER
pancake day :snotty and drippy

reduced appetite (no snacks, drinks, ate lentils at lunch, declined pancakes)Vomitted early eve.

went to bed no dinner

five am next morning woke with temperature (dont know exactly what temp but didnt seem REALLY high)

controlled temp with calpol.

since tues has reduced appetite ad throuwn up some meals, not all.

weds temp and sleepy all day
thurs much better,no vomitting
fri: sick in the morning...slept alot...better in eve
sat: sick twice today..quite snoozy some padding about.

she has a cold, but i dont think that she is coughing herself sick (her mouth waters before she is sick and she seems to sense it coming and cries a little...and she isnt coughing!)

I am quite confident that this is a virus....but as she has been under the weather for what seems like forever,i am not as confident as i would klike to feel.

so ,does anyone think it could be something else?

thanks

Sounds like a bug to me, certainly not something I would seek medical advice for. My poor children have to be at death's door before we see a GP though

This sounds like my DD at the moment so it must be something going round. Took her to the doctors when her temp got over 39 though! He just said lots of fluids, little and often, and try her with a bit of toast when she seems in a good mood.

I am a bit worried about how hungry she must be though, she is only 8 months and seems very grisly. It has been going on since monday afternoon, so if it's the same virus, good luck!
