Does anyone know if a child can catch mumps when they've had the first MMR injection a few but not the booster yet. My DH has mumps today and DS2 (age 5) hasn't had the booster yet.

I believe they can but there's not much you can do about it. NHS direct are usually pretty helpful with stuff like that - I use them all the time coz my GPs are hopeless
