my 4 yr old son has been experiencing this for 5 months now, usually one bout a month. until this month where he has had 3 episodes.
he complains of feeling dizzy, headcahe, goes pale, vomits x3, and sleeps. he wakes from sleep after about 1 hour, crying with pain, then falls asleep again, after pain medication. he willl then sleep for 16 hours or so.
anybody similar? we have a referral to a paed consultant in april.

Migraines?

DD had episodes like that from a very young age that were put down to migraines in the end.

yes, i think so too. but why would a 4r old get migranes. theres no family history?

i would go back to gp and ask him/her to bring appt forward. esp as he wakes from sleep in pain, and is vomiting. it could well be migraines but get him seen sooner rather than later.
