Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

it is in a good place really, with the saliva cleaning it, i should thing if they didnt suggest anything as well, best to leave to heal itself.

I split my lip a few years back, so not really at toddler age and it had to be sown up. 2 stitches, very clean, healed quickly and I think nowadays they can actually stitch with material that doesn't need pulling after a few days. It just falls out.

I had the option of not stitching it and I would have deffo had a gash in my lip, right in the middle.

I would advise you to see a different doc and get a 2nd opinion.

Relax, as I said, I was not a toddler. Kids' healing abilities are a lot, lot better than adults as their cells divide quicker and their skin still grows and forms.

Go back to another GP or call NHS direct and re-inform yourself.

I've got so many scars and my Dh has never complained, I've never been bullied or teased for it, it's part of who I am and I've always been rather proud of my tom-boy credentials.
