Ended up in A&E again last night with croup
Gave ds steriods before bed as he sounded husky but he still woke up struggling to breathe with stridor.
A&E treated with nebulisers and more steriods.
Ds is 4.2 now so hopefully this will be the last winter.

poor you, have been a few times with dd (7) in the night. she seemed to suffer a lot with croup and the dr even said she could of had it a few weeks ago.
Hope he feels better soon.

Yes. I hate it too.

We were back at A+E last week with DS1 who is 5.2. All the docs were saying "he's 5 now, he's too old for croup."

AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

My dd is 6.5 and has croup again, although it isnt as bad as the previous croup seasons!

I presumed she would grow out of it, as thats what the doctor had said when she first had it 4 years ago....still waiting!

Does anyone else get funny looks when the dc's cough in public, I've even told my dd to stop coughing even though I know she cant help it,bless her!

We have been told ds is to old too.
Even though its obvious what it is.
