sorry for bad typing in advance shes in my arms,

right, shes always been a good milk drinker - and from 1 week old has never brought her milk up with or without wind,

So yesterday at about midday my mum gave her a bottle, she projectile vomits after ..

i think 'hmmm' but jut assume bad wind.

we on way to shopping contre... she does it again in car, vomits everywhere,

we change her,

does it again, projetile with bile

have to run in shop for clothes for her,

take her to NHS walk in/ centre

woman says temp is fine, she looks fine - says its wind blah blah

basically makes me feel like a prick, very patronising,

that night she does it again,

no temp, no rashes

shes a bit upset after but fine, smiling ect

does it again this AM and again just now.

i dunno whats going on

have 8 week check tomorrow so will mention it but just worried.

DS did a weird projectile-vomit-looking-thing a couple of times when he was very tiny - doctor said it was where they burp and posset (is that the word? milky sickyness) all at the same time so the wind pushes the vomit out at quite an extraordinary speed. So maybe it's just that, but I'm sure they'll be able to reassure you tomorrow.

If vomiting was this frequent and she was bringing up bile - I would say it's a bug .
Hope I'm wrong though and that she feels better soon!

Runoutofideas · 18/02/2009 10:01

Sounds like a bug to me too. Are her nappies any different?

kitbit · 18/02/2009 10:03

If you're in any way worried phone NHS direct and have a chat with them. Good that you have an apptmt today anyway, but it does sound like a bug.

BennyAndSwoon · 18/02/2009 10:06

Has she kept anything down?

Is she still weeing and pooing lots?

AnnVan · 18/02/2009 10:58

Is she lying down after a feed? My DS did massive projectile vomits until I was advised to sit him up after he'd fed. It could be a similar thing, or it could (as others have said) be a bug.

Is she normally breastfed and this was a one off formula feed?
