... has it worked for your dc?

15mth DS has a hacking cough, waking him loads and shortening his naps and causing 5am starts! Would love him to get some rest, so he can recover and recuperate. From looking online, it seems this is the only medicine appropriate for his age. Before I go and buy, I just wondered whether its worked for your dc or not?
Cheers!

I would go into a pharmacy and ask, because they have changed alot of them to 2 years plus now! the baby syrup is okay but calpol still rocks here

I think that no cough syrup works much good. DS2 had wheezing once so I am a bit proactive with giving him antihistamines/cough syrups (I figure it's better than another bout of steroids and hospitalisation). The cough treatments seem to make only like a 5% reduction in symptoms (but I'll take it if it's all we can get).
