childrens sunglasses

Hi my five year old has glasses (and patching for 3 hours a day) We are going on holiday in april and i am not sure what to do about sunglasses, should i buy another tinted pair or hat!! Will i have to pay extra etc we know very little about nhs presription as these are her first pair!

You can get prescription sunglasses but would have to fund them yourself.

Where is it you are going?

cruise on the med shouldnt be too hot though so may get away with a hat!

We haven't been anywhere really sunny ever but we have had many a bright day. I myself wear glasses and don't seem to be as bothered as some by the bright sunshine. Ds just takes it in his stride and has never known any different. We just wear a hat.
