Like most people, we're dealing with the winter vomiting bug at the moment and desperately trying to avoid dehydration - DS is pushing away all fluids (except milk which he drinks then of course throws up even if given only in v small bits). Have tried diluted juice, giving dioralite, forcing syringes of water - which of course is upsetting for him. Any more ideas please?

Frozen ice pops.

DD was refusing most liquids a while back, and she had a UTI, so we needed her to drink.

we had some success with diluted milk - about 1/4 milk 3/4 water. DD was also happy to eat soup, grapes and melon, which all have a high water content.

other things that didn't work for us, but might for you, are using a sports bottle, new fancy cup with favourite tacky character on, using straws, freezing juice into ice lollies.
