really odd bruising around ds mouth?????

Has anybody got any ideas as to what this couyld be???

Ds3 is 8 and all around is mouth hugher than thean the edge of his lips are like teeny tiny pin prick bruised??

They dont hurt and he doesnt know what it is?

Dh seems to think they are to do with the cold...I dunno im at a loss.

any thoughts welcome he does have 2 older brothers but neither of them admit to trying to suffocate/strangle or gag ds3.
