Long story - but my DS (18 months) had silent reflux for the first year of his life, but then it seemed to ease a bit and he came off his meds. But he's always been a "sicky" baby, and once a week or so does an incredible vomit, which seems to coincide when his bum is raw, he's biting like crazy, and is as grumpy/shouty as you like! He's got his incisors coming through at the moment. Does teething make your LOs want to vom? Is this his reflux resurfacing? If so, when does reflux REALLY start to go? To complicate matters further, the Little Man suffered all though December and January with a virus/cough thing that necessitated a visit to A and E, nebulisers, inhalers, 4 trips to the GPs before finally being given antibiotics which seemed to do the trick two weeks ago, and now the BLOODY COUGH SEEMS TO BE BACK! He hacked away all last night, spent yet another night in bed with me,and is full of snot that seems to make him gag. Why does he seem so prone to chestiness? Is this reflux-related too? I'm getting SO confused..somebody reassure me and tell me its not always going to be like this...we've had 2 weeks of relative good health in two and a half months!! Is teething the culprit? Or reflux? Or just ANOTHER bleedin' bug???
