Hi,

My youngest son (13 months is cutting the 2 bottom teeth either side of the front ones. I've noticed that on both sides they are coming through and they're really set far behind the bottom 2 that are already there (I hope this makes sense ). I'm a bit concerned that his teeth are going to be very crooked.

Does this sound normal to anyone? When DS1's teeth came through we didn't have this.

Also, do you think 13 months is too soon to go to the dentist? I have to admit that ds1 2.9 hasn't been yet (although I will make hs first appoint this week).....

No it's not too soon, my dd's have all seen a dentist as soon as they had some teeth. Dd4 saw the dentist at 13 months! They will be able to advise.

ooops feeling really bad about leaving it for ds1 for so long. Have to admit, I know the fuss he is going to make. I also have a fear of the dentist.....

Make a big thing of sitting in the chair with him and he will be fine....Dd4 just watched her sisters and was more than happy to sit on it alone although took some tickling to get her mouth open! Very funny....

tickling....I will remember that one when he refuses to open his mouth
