Hi Mumsobusy, dd is much much better - eating better than she ever has, and sleeping without any sleep apnoea for the first time in her life. It makes me realize how awful things had got before the op, listening to her now /

Tantrums....well, dd is certainly tantrumming more than pre-op, but I think some of that is simply because she's moving into her twos now. That said, I'm realizing that she isn't 100% recovered from the pain - I keep thinking she is, but at night she is disturbed by her throat when she wakes up, needing a drink of water more often than before, etc. Its still early days. And she was very, very tired for at least 2 to 3 weeks post-op (its 4 weeks on Tuesday) so I'm guessing thats added to any fractiousness.

Sorry you're having a hard time, or that ds is - could well just be a reaction to having been ill, like convalescence? I know from my own experience that I am grumpiest when getting well, not whilst ill! And both my dds are the same.

But odds are its an age thing too
