Wobbly baby

DS is 10 months. He took his first steps at 8 months, and was walking well while 9 months. At 10 months, he is virtually running.
That is until yesterday. All of a sudden he is walking like he is drunk. He cant go further than 4 steps without stumbling, and is even a bit wobbly sitting at times. He looks like someone acting (badly) drunk. I took him to GP yesterday thinking maybe ear infection, but nothing. He has been otherwise well except for teething. I thought maybe he was tired, but he had a good night last night and is still doing it this morning. Any ideas?

growth spurt? DS walked alot later than this but every time he had a growth spurt he got a bit uncoordinated and stumbly...I guess when they are doing a lot of growing their center of balance changes somewhat?

That would make sense. Phew! Had horrid thoughts of brain tumours and all sorts in the night. I think it was just GP telling me that "he isn't old enough to walk properly so of course he's stumbling" that made me worry!! He runs FFS!
