Big spots

Hi,
I wonder if anyone has any advice or a wonder cream they swear by.
My daughter is in great health, but has these big red spots, about 15 of them - which are starting to blister - on her bottom. She's had them for about 2 weeks and we just can't get rid of them. They look awful. Is it nappy rash or something else? We've tried metanium and use sudocreme everyday, but need something else. Any suggestions? They seem to be getting worse.

Thanks very much

sounds like a staph infection (bacterial). need to take her to the GP and get some cream/antibiotics if I'm right. It also could be thrush, but that doesn't usually blister.

Hope this helps.

ooh, my daughter had some spots that sound like these last week - she had about 6 on her stomach and thighs. They got bigger and bigger and then a little head appeared on them and then they started to fade. (they were a bit itchy as well I think).

Sorry I've no idea what they are - and the doctor didn't know either, but in her case they went on their own.

Hi

My DD has spots. Took her to GP on Wed and its a staph infection. She is on antibiotics and some special cream.

She started with 2 or 3 near her bottom, and then they appeared under her arms and on her shoulders. She has lots now. I initially thought it was nappy rash and then possibly excema so put off visit to Docs for a bit ... and now feel bad for her. I'd get it checked to be sure!!!

Ds has spots at the mo - well more of a rash. It came on a few days ago and is everywhere except tummy, bum and head. He is not distressed, it is not chicken pox (he had it)...not sure whether to go to the dr or not. I am putting cream on as it seems a bit dry, but perhaps we should go to Dr??
