Hi
I'm hoping someone can help.
My ds (3) has got rough pimply skin on his cheeks and forehead-worse on cheeks, his face is rather red at the mo anyway cos of a stinking cold ,he has it on his upper arms too and is starting on tops of thighs.
Its similar to the spots you get on the top of arms before you srub away with loofah and moisturize-obv cant do that on his face .
We have been to docs but diprobase not working.
They dont bother him it just doesnt look very nice.
TIA

It's not molluscum is it?

My son has this at the moment (it doesn't look as red as the photos shown on the above link though.

If you gently squeeze the spot after a bath, white ick comes out. This is the bit that makes it spread....

Thanks for your reply RedFraggle.
Don't think its that, the pimples are v.small and sandpapery/quite rough to touch.
It also seems to get worse/more prominent throughout the day.

My dd has had a bit of this at times, and with her its eczema related.

If it feels dry/sandpapery might be worth asking GP to see if some very mild hydrocortisone cream works? Does with dd, but she has it anyway for the odd flare up - her eczema isn't bad, but we've been told to zap any red itchy patches straight away with it.

ALso, different creams seem to help different kids - try Doublebase instead of Diprobase, maybe?
