ds is 24 weeks and i've just found two lumps at the bottom of the back of his head, about an inch round from the bottom of his ear. they move under the skin and appear soft & don't cause any him any pain. there is one either side. Does anyone know what these could be and should i worry??

Glands. They are normal if he's feeling well. They do normally come and go, you have them aswell and they are everywhere.

They are called occipital lymph nodes - a type of gland

DS has had the since birth, he recently had his adenoids out and has very large tonsils - ent consultant said if these lymph nodes are raised all the time it is often a sign of generally large glands elsewhere, not a problem or indicator of anything worrying though
