Surprised by how unwell DS in after MMR

He had the MMR last week and has had slight temp, vomiting, off his food, very clingy etc etc. Anyone else had this, I didn't expect him to be so unwell.

Thanks puzzlerocks. He has had such a bad day! Feeling crap with the MMR, just getting better after terrible nappy rash and to top it all bashed his nose today and gave himself a nose bleed! I need of lots of mummy love! I feel soooooooooo bad!!!!

Hi - MMR was a few months ago for us, but I remember my HV saying that if there is a reaction, it generally takes a week to ten days to show. I do recall DS wasn't v well for a while, but as he's at nursery it was hard to tell whether it was down to MMR or any of the many other bugs circulating...

Re the nappy rash - try Metanium (the yellow tube of stuff), I've found it great and it was recommended by friend whose baby had v bad rash.

Hugs to you and your poor DS; take lots of cuddle time and read books together...

Ah thank-you, Yes Metanium is working well, stains everything but bottom is on the mend. Lots of cuddles tomorrow xx
