That's not a temp.

Donk · 26/01/2009 18:49

37.2 is not significant - 37.0 is just the average 'norm'. It can vary according to time of day, tiredness (in my case) and between people.

follderol · 26/01/2009 18:49

Well of course it's a temp, as is minus 5. What I meant was that 37.2 is not a significantly raised temp. I wouldn't even medicate that low. See what devlops

littleboyblue · 26/01/2009 18:50

Isn't it anything over 38/9?

theresonlyme · 26/01/2009 19:07

It is higher than when he is ill so to us, yes a higer temp.

He is asleep now.

37.2 is a normal temp, sounds like he jsut has a cold.

theresonlyme · 26/01/2009 19:10

I hope so.

So what should I have put then?

I can't think of another word to use other than temperature.

Doc advised me not to worry about anything under 39, 37-39 is a temp so give calpol if you think will help, 39 or over is a fever and should be treated.

Just keep an eye on him and see loads of colds going about
