My DS 14months had MMR on Tuesday. Has been fine, then last night went to bed fine at 6pm but cryed on and off all night, wanted lots of love and cuddles. He had soild sleep from 10pm until he finally woke at 1 o'clock this afternoon! He has been floppy, crying, only slight temp and now is asleep again.

Any thoughts?

Lots of TLC and keep an eye on his temperture and fluid level.

My DS had his rubella jab 8 days ago and I am watching for any changes.

poor little thing, the measles side of the vaccine must have kicked in. He should be fine in a day or two.
My DS had the single measles vaccine and developed a few illnes-like symptoms around the 6th day, too.

It could be a reaction to the vaccine.

Or he could just be ill. Give him calpol for his temperature and keep an eye on him.

I've had my 13mth old DD vaccincated last Tuesday, she was fine for 3 days but from Saturday has had intermittent raging high fever (40.5 highest) and is generally shivery and unwell, not sleeping very well. She is just lurching from one dose of Calpol then Nurofen to keep her from turning into a boiled egg. Anyone else had this bad a reaction? At what point do I take her back to a doctor? How long will it last - we're on day 6 now.
