My dd 21 months has been showing all the signs of early stages of chicken pox. Fever, loss of apetite, lessened inactivity followed by spots on her legs and arms in different sizes. There has also been an outbreak in her class at nursery. I was to be taking her to the doctors this morning only to find that it had all cleared up. She is as right as rain with only her apetite to come back. So the whole thing only lasted 2-3 days or is this a latent phaze?

If they were on her feet and mouth too, sound more like foot and mouth
chicken pox lasts much longer and more spots on belly and back

she has has a little rash on the corner of her mouth too but not on her feet. I have never heard of foot and mouth in kids. should I still go to the doctors if it seems to have cleared up?

If she was licking her lips alot that can happen
She sounds like shes on the mend

Many a nite spent pressing a glass on them
