DS has red armpit - any ideas

hi all

I may be worrying unneccessarily, but while undressing DS for his bath I noticed that he had a bright red armpit.

It didn't seem to be bothering him, but then some things don't...

Just I'm sure I remember some ailment that had red patches in the groin and armpits etc....

BTW, he's just recovering from Hand Foot and Mouth.

You are probably thinking of scarlet fever, or might just be hot/sweaty/eczema

has he a fever or sore throat?

Thanks, yes Scarlet Fever.

Well, he's still recovering from HFMD, so yes has sore thoat. I don't think he's got a fever though. He's been very clingy though, and he's not usally like that.

He's only 12 months so difficult to know how he is really.
