Hi all

Having just had another misdiagnoses by the GP... This time I was told DS had a cold and dermatitus when actually he had Hand Foot and Mouth....

I would like to invest in a book which I could refer to BEFORE going to the doctors, not instead of going. Seems to me that any information you can arm yourself with is a good idea when the docs only have 5 minutes or so to make an assessment.

So fellow parents, what books have you found useful?

Many thanks
Sallypoo

I find that the Internet is the best for such purposes

Yes, I to use the net, but I'm hoping to have something to flick through. Can be very difficult to know where to start on the net if you don't have a name of a condition....

Where as if you have a book with photos of rashes etc then you've got something to go on.

What sites do you use?
