My DS is 17 months and over the last week or so has been having VILE nappies! He is having more dirty nappies (up to 4 a day) and they aren't solid, more like baby nappies.

He is eating and drinking well and generally his usual self. The only problem is a terrible nappy rash which bothers him when he changed.

My mum thinks it could be teething but i am getting a bit concerned. Should i take him to the doc? or am i being over protective?

I'd say teething or 'toddler diarrhoea', as it's known

DD2 had vile nappies as you've described until relatively recently and she's 2.5m
