My dd has had cold sores since she was about 1. She gets them all the time and most of the time has really unsightly red marks all around mouth. Sometimes they get infected. I am so worried she will be scarred for life. It doesn't bother her yet but am sure it will in time. anyone else experienced this? We treat the sores with zovorax anti viral stuff and often need topical or even systemic antibiiotics for the infections.
