Milk war!

DD is 16mo and I was wondering if there is a mimimum amount of milk she needs a day. She was taking 8oz from her beaker in the morning and than 8-9oz.

Her latest attempt at testing boundries is to have a good slug while reclined on her bean bag and then fling it saying all done.

Minutes later she wants it again lying on Daddys tummy and flings it again.

I may need advice on behaviour as well what I was going to do was give her three attempts and then take it away if she is just messing with it.

Advice appreciated.

about 350mls (approx 12oz) is the recommended minimum from 1 year.

TBH I wouldnt stress about it as long as ther is plenty of calcium in the rest of her diet.
My youngest dropped down to two breastfeeds a day just after 18mths, and refused milk in a cup or bottle.
I jsut made sure he ate plenty of dairy and calcium rich foods.
He is now 3 and still won't drink milk, but is absolutely fine.

as for behaviour, when she flings it just take it away, it wont do her any harm not to have milk for 1 drink, she will soon realise that she will need to hang on to it if she wants to drink it
