strange reaction to robitussin plus?

My DD1 (5) has had a flu-like illness since Saturday. I took her to the doctor on Tuesday (where she perked up of course!) and he said that her chest was a bit rattly and gave me a prescription for amoxycillin, but said only to get the antibiotic if it got worse. She is still very listless and is eating very little (almost fell asleep at the dinner table yesterday), although the cough has improved. We got her some Robitussin Plus (guaufenesin and pseudoephidrine), because she now has a snuffly nose, so I gave her some of that this morning (5 ml by mistake - should have been 2.5ml, but it would be 5ml if she was aged six) . She was very listless all morning so I decided to get the antibiotic at lunchtime and when we got home I gave her 5 ml amoxycillin, 2.5 ml of the Robitussin Plus and 10ml Calpol. She fell asleep on the sofa and when she woke up was behaving quite oddly: crying and clingy, but not really able to tell me what was wrong. At one point she said that she had a pain in her tummy (which she has said off and on since this illness started, but the doctor wasn't concerned about it). She's in our bed at the moment sleeping off and on, but is easy to rouse. She's in very bad form though and keeps telling me to go away. Any ideas? Thanks

In case anyone out in the ether is interested or has a similar experience, I'm pretty sure this was a reaction to the pseudoephidrine - she's fine now.
