DD has small pin prick red rash - any ideas?

DD is 15 mo. In the last hour she has developed a rash over her torso, legs and arms - small pin-prick red dots.

She has had her MMR (several weeks ago) and she is otherwise well apart from snots (which is nothing unusual for her).

Any ideas what it could be? Does it sound like a heat rash - or something more serious?

Thanks

Oh, and I've done the glass test - it blanches.

Don't have much advice to give except NHS direct I'm afraid. They never mind being asked advice on childrens health.

Sounds exactly like a heat rash!

Or an allergic type of rash like to a washing powder or soap.. agree with first answer of trying NHS direct x

Thanks everyone. I've given DD some antihistamine and had a nurse friend look at her. She thinks the same - either allergy rash or viral rash, but nothing sinister.
