How long should you wait after a child has last vomited before offering them something (bland) to eat?

I have no idea, ds 4 has been throwing up since 3am, but nothing now for 3 hours, he seems to be keeping down diluted apple juice, and is begging for food.

I'd offer something bland now then. There used to be a school of thought that said nothing for 24 hours but it's been replaced I think by one that says offer small amounts of bland food if they request it.

How about a Rich Tea biscuit or half aslice of toast?

if he wants food give it to him.
