Please help very confused

My dd 3.9 has been having flashes in her eyes and headaches for 3-4 months has had mri and eeg and is booked in for 24 eeg in 3 wk, been to see consultant today who is not sure that it is occicipital epilepsy (which he originally suspected), and said he thinks its to do with over charged emotions!! If the 24hr eeg comes back normal he is going to get her referred to see if it is mild autism-i am totally confused. All i know is that to my daughter the flashes in her eyes are real and frighten her and keeps saying mummy make them stop-its breaking my heart

no she hasnt eaten anything different, they considered migrane but has been going on 3-4 months now and she has these flashings 3-8 times a day, she does have little rituals and sometimes her emotions do run away with her but i think thats just the age she is! I was convinced it was occipital epilepsy had read up on it but he not so sure-he is the expert! I jst want a diagnosis

you can always ask for a second opinion if you are not happy with the diagnosis - keep pushing until you are sure you have the right answer for your DD.

Any further experience advice from anyone plllllease

She has had flashing again every day i am sure it must be epilepsy
