DD2 is on antib's that have to be given on an empty stomach or an hour after food.
NOW can I squeeze all 4 doses per day into the 12 hrs that she is awake, making it very hard to feed her, but hey!!!
OR do I have to wake her in the night.

She had the 3rd dose today at 5, cos we were out, then had her tea at ten to 6, then she is in bed at the latest at 7, so will have the last dose as near to 7 as possible, is that too close together or do you think it is ok. Not particularly keen to wake her and give it. Have done this before with dd1 but she was ok, dd2 hates this medicine, it stinks of bubblegum so I cant blame her, and she would be hysterical in the middle of the night, or later in the evening, and I wonder if she'll settle again, or wake dd1 so am not keen

Blah blah blah, sorry waffling, so ok or not?????

I think it is best to leave at least a 3hour gap between doses, I would give the last dose later even if you have to wake her up.

hmm, that is what I was wondering. Yesterday it was 4 then 7 so not so bad, the trouble is she hates it and wont take it. It's a good 5 minute batle with her screaming, before she realises she is going to have to have it, plus a bribe of chocolate button to take away the taste.
All of which I am reluctant to do when she is sleeping as she will then be wide awake and wake dd1.
sigh

Any ideas how to get her to take it nicely, with dd1 it was wake up love, sit up, here's your medicine, right lie down, go back to sleep, shush shush. GONE. Waaaaaaaaaa

Sorry am dreading it

They are designed to be taken during hte waking day....no need to get up overnight.

Hmm, it wasn't a problem yesterday as I spread them well, but we got back late from town and so the third one is now too close to bed time one.
My mum says is better to just give 3 today but try to get all 4 in from now on.

Thanks ladies.
