Hi, my 6 year old has a very red tip on his penis, as well as a very red line going underneath to where his foreskin is attached. He's not complaining of soreness but it looks sore and dp seems to think his foreskin shouldn't be attached so close to the hole on (only underneath, it goes all the way back on top). Sorry if this is tmi, but not sure whether to take him to docs or not.

Hmm, think a phone call to the docs wouldn't be out of place, although if it doesn't hurt, I'd be leaving it until monday. sounds llike he may have a little balanitis (we've had loads of it!), but just a chat on the phone will either set your mind at ease, or get him seen iygwim.

I'm not sure. But often, sore willy is caused by bubble bath (I joke not)

Our GP told us this when we were opn the point of getting referred for 'further treatment which would poss have involved surgery, not a good option.

We stopped using bubble bath and the problem disappeared. Worth a try

We don't use bubblebath as it irritates his skin, so it can't be that! Think I might take him to docs just to be sure.
