I have just combed DD with a nitty gritty and now want to check mine. I dont want to comb througb mine and put eggs in to my hair. The comb is very fine so how do you effectively clean it? Boil it? Alcohol? A good scrub? How do you clean yours between heads?

I scrub ours with a nail brush. Hold it up to the light and look through the teeth to can see whether it's clean or not.

kind of flick all the ends like a flicker book, in the water.

I use dental floss - bit fiddly, but works (I have a metal comb and the teeth are so close together that a toothbrush doesn't get in the gaps properly).

Nitty Gritty website says dental floss or a good scrub.
