DS2 was off his food a bit yesterday and very trumpy, in the night has done a HUGE poo, I mean everywhere from neck to knees, luckily mostly contained in his fleecy oversuit but not really diarrhea but not a normal poo and it stank of fish! He seems fine in himself, no temp, has downed his milk as usual (not offered breakfast yet). Now here's the dilema - we (ds1, 4 and me) are sposed to be meeting DH on the Santa train in a bit. DH not contactable til we get there. Do I risk taking ds2 out, if he doesn't go, none of us can go ...

Go if he eats his breakfast.

I'd say he was a bit constipated and thats why he was off his food yesterday. Hence the HUGE poo last night!

Yes, think you may be right, he hadn't pooed at all yesterday

thanks MamaG, I'll try and stop flapping

Take several complete changes of clothes for ds2 (and a spare pair of jeans for you in case he does it on your lap ) - and double the ususal number of wipes, a small towel & some carrier bags to put any grimy clothes in - and go!

Good luck.

If he doesn't have a temperature and eats his breakfast, I'd say you're OK to go.

Pheebe · 24/12/2008 09:14

OK, he's eaten brekkie (wolfed it!) so we'll go, thanks everyone

Gagarin - thanks, good advice, will take the extras and clothes for me just in case
