Why has DD's jaw started clicking when she breastfeeds?

I only started noticing it last night. It's not all the time but does happen for a bit at each feed I think. It's an audible click and when I put my finger near the joint of her jaw I can feel it moving a bit. What could it be? She is getting molars atm but I'm not sure if that could have anything to do with it. TIA

a clicking sound may be heard during feeding if the baby has tongue tie. How old is she? I presume the inside of her mouth has been properly checked when she was born. Even if it turns out to be tongue tie, no need to worry...it's very easy to correct.

A clicking noise can indicate a ineffective latch where the baby is repeatedly breaking the seal ...

Take a look here
It does say here that it can be brought on by teething so that could be what is causing the problem with your dd?

Hope you get it sorted
