I dont know for sure but my husband has been taking them for over a year and has not had a single bug, thank God. I have started to give them to my son also. Heck anything is worth a try.

I also think alot of illness is down to the general condition of the body, and is also down to how you eat, etc. Also if you take lots of anti-b's you are more prone to picking up other bugs as they kill the bad bugs and the good bugs that you body needs in order to fight bugs.

I would always keep in , garlic, good organic honey, lemons, ginger and some good quality vitamin c food suppliments.

Also white bread, pasta etc all suppress the immune system. Also eating lots of sugar can supress the immune system for up to 5 hours so if you come into contact with the flu in that time your body has less chance of fighting it off.

Hope you don't get sick.
