How long is measles infectious for?

My 11mo nephew is poorly (though not seriously) and the diagnosis is possible measles (though can't be confirmed without a blood test, apparently).

I am supposed to be going over to my brother's house on Boxing Day. If my nephew has recovered from the illness by then, is it possible he could still be infectious?

My DS has had the MMR so should be fine but I am pregnant and have never been vaccinated or had measles, so don't want to risk coming into contact with it.

NHS Direct says "Someone with measles is infectious for 2-4 days before the red rash appears and for about five days after it appears."

Thanks -- I'm not sure when the rash first appeared, think it was a couple of days ago. So technically it should be OK? Still not sure I want to risk it...

I probably wouldn't go...even if he is now over it theres the potential for another one of the family to have caught it and be infectious. You are pregnant and from what you say at risk so I would have thought just not worth the risk.
